1. Top Menu - Tools -> Accounts.
2. Select your email account from the list.
3. Click on Properties on the right.
4. Select the Servers tab. (see screen shot below)
5. Under "Outgoing Mail Server", check the "My Server Requires authentication" box. (see screen shot below)
6. Click on the Settings button near to the box you just checked. (see screen shot below)
7. Select the "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" option.
8. Click OK, Apply, then OK.

1. Top Menu - Tools -> Options.
2. Select "Mail Setup" tab.
3. Click on "Email Accounts" button.
4. Select "View or change existing e-mail accounts", click Next.
5. Select your e-mail account from the list, click Change.
6. Click on "More Settings ..." button. (see screen shot below)
7. Select the "Outgoing Server" tab. (see screen shot below)
8. Check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. (see screen shot below)
9. Click OK, Next.
