Here are some other fun facts about Brian!

Before working at SharpNet, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’d ever had?

B: During college I worked at a 7/11 in the middle of town. Very unusual crowd for sure.

How did you first learn about SharpNet?

B: On Indeed! I was heavily on the job search and stumbled on the recent job posting, and decided to throw my hat in the ring.

How do you balance your career at SharpNet and your free time?

B: I believe that free time is super important for your mental state. In my free time, I try to be active or consume creative media so that my mind is ready for the next day.

How has SharpNet helped you in your career development?

B: In every aspect of my career. Communication, analysis, problem solving, and time management are all skills that I have fine-tuned since I started working here. I’m still working on all of these, but these skills have progressed immensely with my time at SharpNet.

If you could pick one theme for SharpNet to turn into a book about the company, what would it be?

B: Courage and perseverance.

Any random facts you could share?

B: I used to be an amateur downhill skateboarder—the longboarders who raced down hills with plastic on their gloves, if you’ve ever seen it. Had a couple of sponsors at one point in time, too. I’ve hit 70 mph on my longboard twice.

Are you messy or organized?

B: A beautiful combination of both. Chaotic control, haha!

Best vacation you’ve been on?

B: South Korea! Most of my family lives there, so it’s great to go and reconnect and share cultures.

If you could be any force of nature, what would it be?

B: “Be water, my friend.” – Bruce Lee
